H.E.A.T. does not have a formal process for organizing field trips.  If you want to coordinate a group activity or field trip, go for it!  Email us the details and we will post it here so other home school families can join in the fun!

In Texoma, any home school parent who wants to plan a field trip is welcomed and encouraged to do so.  This is where we will post information about upcoming field trips.  In the meantime, check out some of the ideas listed on the area field trip pages. 

Who knows -- you may decide to organize a trip for the whole group!

Upcoming Field Trips:

Pumpkin Patch

Norma Priscock  had organized a visit to a nearby Pumpkin Patch for all who are interested!

The party/field trip is Tues Oct 20th from 9:30-1:30.  The cost will be $3.50 a child (adults free) and it includes the following:

Bounce House

Pony rides

Hay ride

Games (They have a pool table, foosball (sp) and ping pong table) 

I would like to only allow the older kids to play on this so it will not get torn up

pumpkins (small ones to paint)

petting zoo  

They do have pumpkins to carve for an additional charge of $5-$7 depending on the size.  They will have them out for you to shop for whichever one you would like.  

Please bring a sack lunch.  There are tables out there for you to eat lunch on.   If you can, please RSVP so I can give Larry an idea on how many would like to come so he will enough pumpkins.
